THANKS THIS MONTH

Thank you to Judy who gets straight on every Sunday evening helping me count and record the offering money. She does all the hard work counting and recording the cash and cheques on spread sheets, ready for me to check and fill in the bank books. What would I do without you Judy? Thanks too to Doreen and huge thanks to Allan for all the spreadsheets and reconciliation. Many, many Thanks ALL

Thank you Malcolm, for your ministry, especially the wonderful gift of music and song which takes us to into the presence of God, teaching, uplifting and filling our souls, this adds so much to our worship. Thank you

How good it is to give thanks to you, O Lord, to sing in your honour, O most High God. To proclaim your constant love every morning and your faithfulness every night, with the music of stringed instruments and with melody on the harp. Your mighty deeds, O Lord, make me glad; because of what you have done, I sing for joy.                                     Psalm 92:1-4 GNB

Revelation 5:8 describes an awesome scene around the throne of God:

‘The four living creatures and twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were golden bowls full of Incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.’

Our God is sovereign, and His power is unlimited – but He may choose to act when we pray, and not to act when we fail to pray.       (CARE prayer diary)

Mission ‼

‘Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night.’

Philippians 2:15,16 (THE MESSAGE)

Lord Jesus, You send us out as light and salt to live in Your truth and love through Your Spirit. Please help us in every part of our lives – work, home leisure, and in our communities – to be Your ambassadors, sharing the gospel and bringing blessing to all we meet. Amen.

Holy Spirit, please raise up more Christians to worship You and to pray for our nation and the wider world. Teach us all to pray to the Father, guided by You and in the authority of Christ for His Kingdom to come and for His will to be done. Amen

Please pray for Roy, Diane, Sue and all the family. Roy’s son-in-law, Ian died recently, please remember the family especially Diane, Ian’s partner. Please pray for June Broad’s family and friends. June was a much loved part of this community and will be sadly missed. Please pray for Beryl and Michael they need our prayers. Pray for Anne’s family, we place Barbara in your loving care.

We pray for this fellowship. We give you, O Lord, thanks and praise for Your faithfulness towards us and all who Worship You here. Holy Spirit, please guide each person and group who meet at the church. May we each know you personally.

Lord Jesus, please bless your people in Silver End. May we be filled with Your love and the Spirit of God, we seek to follow and serve You. We pray that Your church might grow as Your Holy Spirit prepares the hearts of men, women and children. Protect us we pray, from the evil one who is out to destroy lives. We ask Lord that You would send workers to move into this village to work alongside other Christians to bring about the furtherance of Your Kingdom to the Glory of God. Amen.
